Barry's Marathon and Neil's hair loss explained
Barry Cook, a veteran runner (over 40s) from Enfield and Haringey Harriers, is a member of the
Enfield Town FC Supporters Society Ltd and has agreed to run the London Marathon this year in
support of our cause. Barry will be wearing an Enfield and Haringey Harriers shirt, which will
also include the name of Enfield Town FC and one of our baseball caps, and his picture will be
taken once he crosses the finish line. We hope to publish the photograph in the local papers
and a future programme.
Neil Avey, our Web site designer and Enfield Town FC supporter, has promised that he will
have his head shaved at the last game of the season if we can show that we can raise £500.00 for
the Society's funds. This will be an ideal opportunity for us to raise money and all you need
to do is to pay a minimum of £5.00 to help our cause, and reduce Neil's shampoo bill.

Enfield Town could not break down a stubborn Saffron side and dropped points on the very

Enfield Town after signing for the club this afternoon and came on as a second half substitute.
One point gained or two points lost, depending on your viewpoint.
